Muted for nothing!

Well yesterday I was at the catherbry farming patch and I was talking to a guy. There was another dude next to me called kurtis25, of which happend to be my email address ! I said add me on msm, kurtis25 talking to the guy. I was had for giving away person details and I'm perm muted. I sent my appeal in and i quoted there terms and conditions. In the rules section part 13 it reads. GIVING AWAY OR ASKING for personal details of which i did not do. This morning I woke up and checked the appeal status, declined. All I got was an automated message saying your appeal has been denied. I was asking kurtis25 to add me and gave no email address or screen name and was still had for it. Do you think that Jagex actually knows there terms and conditions? Doesn't seem like it...

Giving out email address is personal information - I think the ban sounds fair to me.

Yeah, I think it's a little unfair but asking him to add you on msn is a silly thing to do as you were building up to getting their email address!

Mentioning to give out email address is breaking rules on games. Its like on habbo if you mention to anyone "want to add me on....." Don't be suprised if your banned for a few hours. They have add contact box on games anyway.

Its he's choice and he's risk at getting a virus or even hacked if he wants to have lots of strangers on he's msn.
