    Default Trouble Uninstalling

    Hi.

I Download ESET NOD32 a while back and i dont want it on my laptop anymore.

When i try and uninstall it i get the error shown below.

I thought if i try and install it again it will sort it out.
But when i try to it says 'A more recent version is allready on your pc'

I went into 'My computer >> Program files >> ESET NOD32 I deleted some of the files in that flolder using Shift and Del.
    But some files didnt delete.

What i think ive done is deleted what ever file i needed for this to unistall.

The resson i need to uninstall it is i need to download a new antivirus, my my laptop keeps saying you allready have one.

    Thanks for reading me eassy
    Hopefully someone can help me.

If you need any other info please ask.

All i can think of is control panel, there is no other way i don't think, you may want to clear your harddrive or something like that

Any tips on how to clear it?

I have no pc knowledge at all.

By clearing my full hardrive would this get rid of the drivers off my stuff?

I have no cds to re-install anything.

if u buy a windows disc then u can reboot your laptop however this will delete your drivers so u will need to install them all again

Look in the ESET folder in your start menu and select the uninstall button from there instead of in Add/Remove Programs. Also make sure the programme is closed before doing any of this
