Anime forum- Point and counter point

Ok, so you said that you had some reasons for no Anime forum. Well, I thought here is a good time to say what I have to think about your points:


There is not enough demand - Actually, if you look in the original Anime forum thread, more then 40 people voted Yes for an anime forum. I would hazard a guess, that the number of people who voted yes is way more then those who actually post in the Big Brother forum. This brings me to the opinion, that the management puts in Sub forums for topics that they like, rather then ones that alot of people would want. You could say it is their choice, but it should be the peoples choice that is important, as we are the ones who post in the forums.


Anime is a fad, and will end soon- No, this is wrong. Certain Anime shows are a fad, not anime in general. I agree, Pokemon was a fad, but anime did not end when the pokemon fad ended. Why? Because Anime is not limited to Pokemon, it is a wide variety of shows. It has been running for maybe 10 years. I would not call that a fad, and im sure anime will not end anytime soon. Calling Anime a fad is like calling reality tv a fad. Im sure shows like Big Brother will end (which coincidently has its own sub-forum :rolleyes, but reality tv will go on as new shows are created. It is also like calling Videogames a fad. Although the Atari fad is over, new videogames are being created. It is not a fad.


We don't like Anime- Well, this is where you have to leave your personal opinions at the door, and give the people what they want. I know, you may not be fans of anime, but more then 42 people do like anime, as shown in the Polls. 42 people who like anime, im sure would keep the sub-forum full of interesting threads.



There has been no anime threads posted- Well, this is why we get a forum. So that people are encouraged to talk about anime. Simple enough. Im sure that if Big Brother did not have its own forum, it would only have 1 or 2 threads about it.


Just drop it, we are not getting it - What a nice thing to say. We rule the forum, you don't, drop it, we are not giving you what you want. Now sit down, shut up, and just go watch your anime on your own time. We don't like anime!

Stop arguiing with us, you are causing trouble - Actually, if you got the sub-forum, there would be no trouble. If the sub-forum does not get used, get rid of it. Simple as that. Im sure that Boonzeet, me, Neversoft (who got banned by the way, I wonder why), and many other anime fans will keep it running.



Now that you see it my way, could you possibly just give it a chance?

Well, I see you are trying to turn this into an argument, but actually I like anime and would like a forum, like alot of the forum. They told me I was not responding to their original points, so I decided to write this and see if they would understand it better. Thank you for antagonizing me though.

Funny that you talk about dictatorship, I noticed Neversoft got banned recently in the anime thread for saying his opinion. But lets not talk about that, we are not allowed to discuss ban reasons. Oh wait, that seems relevant to dictatorship too.....

I actually never edited it, I actually want them to see it my way, because if they saw it my way maybe they could understand why anime fans want a sub-forum to post in. Once again, nice try at antagonizing me.
