That's why I called it best online friend if you read thepost properly. And internet relationships do work.

Anyways please answer my question.

Online relationships don't work they're pointless....You can't tell who someone really is just because of a few IM's , texts and phone calls.

I'm old enough to meet anyone I like I'd do it alone but carefully. I would meet them in a public place...The usual safety procedures.

If I was younger I'd take a friend or make them come to see me :p

If your careful and make sure that when you meet them that your out in the open where people can see you if something was to go wrong. Then theres loads of people to see and help if you get into trouble. I've never had this situation but I've been stood up once.

How can you be sure you REALLY trust him though? If you decide to meet him, either meet half way in a public place or take a mate with you. Just be careful that's all you can do
