Basically, when I slice and layout, right click and export the slices they come out black and white. Any idea how to stop this? (they are gifs, rather than pngs being exported if that matters?)

If you have the boxes on the right, click "Optimize and Align" under the GIF dropdown, if Adaptive is not already selected then select it, also make sure the colors are 128 NOT 256. Loss: 0,Dither: 0 and finnaly; Alpha Transparency to allow transparency in parts that contain transparency in your image.

I reccomend PNG as it's the 2nd highest quality to JPEG, GIF provides the least quality.
