I'm not sure about the internet problems, but to get into your router settings, type 192.168.0.1 (usually) into the address bar.
    Or 192.168.1.1

If your router is near a window move it, routers overheat easily.

The settings should be accessible by typing 192.168.2.1 in the adress bar of a web browser. The default password should be blank.
