GCSE Science Exams... 2 weeks.
Why have they introduced GCSE exams into year nine?
They count as 25% of my total GCSE grade ;-;

You've got nothing to worry about. GCSE's *really* don't mean anything.

Not really, as long as you only get 5 GCSE's then you're sorted. Most colleges that even say that let you in anyway. As long as the GCSEs are passed then that is all that matters. By the way I am at college now.

I'm in year 9 and my 3 science exams are in June. I have Welsh the week before them and I have my R.E. exam this Wednesday.
.
GCSE Science, English and Maths mean alot. Alot of jobs, colleges and Universities ask for atleast a C in those three subjects. However, you are allowed to resit your module exams in the run up to your final examination?
Yes you can. Most universities just ask for 5 GCSEs.
Anyway, what I was trying to say was that they do mean something, but alot of people (mainly teachers) over exagurate the importance of the exams. A pass is all that is needed.
