Default Build or buy a PC?

Title says it all. I have the option to do either. I can either build a PC, make it my own... fit it to my needs. I'll be able to do this really easy seems as my dad used to do it agessssss ago. Or I could go for the soft option and buy a PC (like I normaly do...). At the momment I'm edging towards building one simply because I could make it suit my needs, give it crap loads of memory etc...
I'd just like to find out what you would do if you were in the same situation. So yeah, post at will.
I'm saying 'noob' because I'm used to saying it on a different forum, it's funnier than this one but it's only subject is Man City don't tell me to 'Sod off to that one then'. Don't take it to heart when I say it.

If you know how to build a PC, then build it yourself - it's cheaper!

How much are you looking to spend. If you're going cheap-a$$ then it would work out better to buy a PC from somewhere like Dell. If you're getting a mid-range - awesome system then build it yourself.

Price doesn't matter, but yeah I'd like to make one myself.

Price doesn't matter, I'd just like a PC which is like... big memory etc and like... 'awesome system'.

Uh uh, thats the problem... I'm in year 10 and have GCSE's coming up and most of the time when I'm not in school, revising or working I'm out with mates... and my dad works full time... weekends would be limited due to man city matches and squash... I hate time.

It doesn't take much time. Probably 1.5-2 hours for a first build. In you case i recommend building .
