just my luck

i finally get gta iv a few days ago, and now when i try to play it, i get the message "this disc is unreadable". ive emailed the place where i got the game from, but no replies yet (i dont expect a reply until monday really).

this happened to anyone else?

i get it 2 or 3 times when i put my disc in, but it works after a couple of attempts.

ive tried like 4 times and still get the same message. the furthest ive got is literally just out of the safe house, then the message appears. so annoying considering i just got it.

happens to me all the time, it happened so much i cudnt be bothered to play it agen

ima try again tomorrow and see how far i get. it'll just be extremly annoying because i would be playing and always wondering "when is it gonna **** up" and knowing my luck, it would be during a mission or whatever.

My Game freezes alot like freezes for 5 sec then continues. i got another one and it does it to but i cbb to change it because it happends rarely.

when i went the ladt told me microsoft let out alot of bad copys of GTA

eurgh. the message came up again just as it was loading to the safe house. the annoying thing of all of this is that i bought it online, so ill have to send it back opposed to taking it down town and taking it back there.

is the actual problem the game or the xbox? cuz if i took it to like gamestation or game and asked if they could use the machine which reduces the scratches, would that work? or is it best just sending it back?

Mines the same.
For example, it wouldn't let me fly certain distances in Brucie's helicopter, but in another chopper it was fine.

what im gonna do is rent out a gta and swap the discs
on love film u can rent free for 21 days. so im gonna do that.
