We tried it, unfortunately they never took off, however HabboxWorld is still somewhat active working off of HabboxForum.com.

I like the idea we could search for some foreign staff. . .

I mean a lot of people can talk languages and it is suprising how many people have unused furni on foreign hotels :]

Although I would prefer to be on a forum with UK and USA users than multi-national (not racist I just think it would be annoying to have more forums for people saying SELLING AUSTRAILIAN HC!111!!!!!

Since unless we have a few hundred Austrailians there would be no point

Like nvrspk said there was other international sites for canada and america but they never really took off although being some what popular and over the years have slowly closed. How ever with the new international events and competitions department we are still making an impact on international hotels.

I can't imagine this happening, there would be too many forums and catagories, unless Habbox wants to cut out aload of catagories for this. It's a shame vB or any other forum design company hasn't created a feature which gives the forum index 2 alternative views for example, the current one and another one for foreign hotels. Plus the foreign language rule will cause problems...

I remember it never taking off, but I believe that was because yonder454 (who was the head of habbox.us at the time) wasn't that bothered with .com as opposed to .co.uk

Anyhow seeing as I use .com quite often, I would be interested in a job in the international scene.

In my opinion the following are problems with international hotels.

    • Cost of running a forum and site for other hotels
    • Language barrier
    • Little time to run many different sites
    • Lack of staff in other sectors
    • Smaller populations of other hotels

However I would love to see this idea take off on every english speaking hotel how it has done for us on .co.uk

Even if we did expand it to other languages, we could only have English speaking ones due to the English staff - they could be saying all sorts of things that we wouldn't understand!

And plus, there are now new international staff that organise competitions and events and things. :8
