    get ipod touchh
ive never had any problems with my ipods (past and present).

since u want 1 for music n video (well music obviously), then either get an ipod touch or ipod video. but with ipod touch, it is wi-fi enabled so u can connect to internet, and also has youtube on it so u can like watch videos on youtube. so yh, i think its best to invest in an ipod touch as it offers more compared to the bog-standard ipod video which is just music and video.

No offence to above but Nano's screen scratches easily, I learnt it the hard way, don't get it. Get a touch instead.

Touch, it has a big screen compared to other Ipods for video.
And music well, all Ipods are the same, but memory wise, it's your choice.
