Default Media Sharing with Windows Media Player

    Hello,

Vista can see what XP is sharing in WMP, but XP cannot see Vista's WMP shares.

I don't want to share my Music partition on Vista as I don't want the whole network to see my music!

Any help on why XP cannot see Vista's shares?

XP running no firewall yet, Vista is setup to share and is sharing to my 360.

    Thanks

It's actually impossible and there's nothing you can really do.

The one thing you can do is share the folders on the network and PW Protect them maybe?

No? Media Sharing in Vista's WMP will share to 360 and everything it can, its just XP cannot access files on another PC through WMP, but Vista can ¬_¬
