Habbox: Hobba List (Question)

Now before people start saying I'm acting ridiculous or whatever, I think it is a fantastic idea that the history of habbo is kept fresh in people's minds and I totally agree with the idea of having these lists, but..

I was browsing Habbox earlier and realised that in the following section https://habbox.com/site/content/view/3423/3525, the hobba list compiled here was not actually created by a member of Habbox, just copy and pasted and then listed in alphabetical order.

The list is identical to what the following website's list looked like a few months ago before it was updated:

The casing is identical, not to mention the fact there is a person on the list that wasn't even in the hobba programme and put there for that very reason.

I know the screenshots of the hobbas weren't copied, but considering the creator of that list went to the trouble of sniffing out most of the hobbas from the 2002-2005 period, I think the least you could do is give the website owner a little credit, either by mentioning his name or the website from which the list was borrowed.

The old Habbox site had a list of all the Hobbas of the time. It's possible that those sites you listed copied the material directly from the old site and therefore when we have copied the old list from the site it appears as though we may have copied it directly from those sites, when it's not really the case. I'm not saying that's what happened, it's just a possibility.

Actually, Habbox had the list before those two sites, they had it back in 2004.

Habbox had lists and images of all Hobbas long before any other site due to the main fact that the site was run by several Hobbas.

Yes, that is true that the old list was there in 2004, and was alot smaller, but the large hobba list on Habbo Ages was created in 2002, then updated in 2003, 2004 and updated again in 2007 as the list was compiled with help from the old gang 'gissberg', 'RedVelvet' etc.

I am certain that the current list on Habbox is a copy + paste job of Habbo Ages' list and I don't see why the person who did it left no credit to the owner or P1ckle inparticular who made it.

Hi, yeah P1ckle did make the site and that was his site long before habbox even existed, though he recently updated it when he returned to habbo for a few months.

You know his first name so you must have known him well, are you Lee from TTT if so you probably knew his site was linked to the old TTT website in 2003.

Anyway, the list on the history section is definitely a copy + paste job and I would just like to know who exactly edits that section.

I have to agree with Array with this, I've spoken to the user who created the Habbox list a few months ago, requesting that additional hobba's be added. I was told that the list was newly created, and based upon what could be found on other websites. I don't believe Habboages copied Habbox because they have images provided with the list, such as this one,

That I know is genuine. I've also spoken to other ex-hobbas, who've given reference to Habboages...none of which mentioned anything regarding plagiarism.

If Habbox did use the aid of other websites to construct the list, perhaps some recognition is in order.

He created a theme park that was popular for several years, and is still active, after initially registering in 2001. He wasn't obsessed with Habbo...but he did have sufficient interest to construct such a list.
