    Default MacBook Or MacBook pro

Ok, well i want a new laptop, and it has to be capable of video viewing, photo editing.. ect ect but it needs to be able to multi task well..

Anyway.. the main thing i wanted to know is.. can i have normal MSN, so that i can still talk to my old contacts, and how well would it be "future-proof"

i know how good macs are i just need a little advice.. seeing as they are quite expensive..

And how effective (price wise) is the student discount?

Bootcamp will be fine. I have a mate who runs that on bootcamp. He has 2gb ram and thats fine. MBP would be more if you wanted HD video editing or extreme multitrack recording.

    My advice is macbook
