Lightbulb Bullying and How to defeat it!

We all know that teenage life in a culture alike ours today is stricken with bullying and the people who truly think they are 'hard'. But in my opinion, and take this from someone who has been bullied for years in the past, they arent what they may seem.

If you feel like you are being bullied. This includes peer - pressure, which is where you feel forced into doing something that you really do not want to do! Then you must firstly tell someone. Im going to stress the word 'someone' because whenever anyone mentions this word, most people automaticly think, teachers and parents, but the first person i told was my best mate! And he made sure he was there for me when i needed him the most.

If name calling is the type of bullying your receiving, throw it back at them. I know i shouldnt be encouraging bad behaviour, but the worst kind of bully is the bully who cant take his own insults! And sometimes you can upset them as much as they've upset you! Which in your eyes is a good thing. But remember, you didnt like it, so dont go too far!

Being bullied out of your lunch money, or beaten up just for the fun of it is by no means necesary! And if this happens Uncle KnownSinner's advice is to tell somebody immediatly. Fighting is NOT the way forward.

    How to stop that bully.
The biggest thing to remember about bullies is that they hate to be bullied. If you do ever experience something like this (which i pray to god you dont) some little tips id like you all to remember:
    • Telling someone seems like the worst option but in most cases it is the best! (Example: I told my head of year group and within 2 weeks i was loving my time at the school!)
    • Tell a friend: Sometimes they will stick by and stand up for you.
    • Dont hide away! : Never hide in the library, it will show that your scared and being scared is something that bully's love to see!
    • Enjoy the place your in: If bullying is happening at school, then make sure you do not miss school, examples include myself, i missed entire terms of my education because of a huge amount of bullying, but although it may seem lost, i recovered and I am receivign A's and A*'s! (Other than in french, cus french is yakk)
    • Overall, Be confident! What those bullies think of you, if nothing in your frame of mind. You are You! And You are the best that YOU can be. YOU are respected for who YOU are and never forget that.
As a little conclusion, id like to say a big good luck to everyone who is recovering from bullying and hope that this mini guide has helped you! If you would like any Support or guidance feel free to contact me via PM! I dont bite! I promise!

I've only told someone once because I bunked off school cos I hated the lesson this dude who pissed me off was in and I just had to tell someone... the most annoying thing about bullies is they always the annoy you when no ones around but when there's a respectable teacher or you're with friends they back the hell off. Preying on the weak. Guess that's how the world goes round.
