Default Transferring Files between Computers / USB Problem

I got a new MP3 player yesterday, and want to put my music on it.
Thing is, my laptops buggered. The USB ports only pick up half of the things I plug in, eg. they picked up my old MP3, but not my memory stick.

Is there anyway (other than CDs etc.) to transfer files between my computers? There both on the same wireless network, if that helps.

    Thanks
    Doubt everything, even this.

You can used shared-drives other the network, allowing you to send/receive data into a certin folder (Shared Documents) over your network. My Dad bought a 300GB HD for this becuase we all backup our files onto it.

You can find more infomation here.

Try installing a driver for the device, unless it's plug & play.
