    Default Recovering a document (+REP)

Ok I'm using Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007. I downloaded a piece of coursework from my email and when it downloaded, it saved to a 'temporary folder' or something. When I'd finished, I clicked save and it said it had although after I xed off of word, I couldn't find it. It definately saved but it doesn't appear in recent documents or anything. It took me like two hours. Please could someone tell me where it will be and how I get to it?

If you know what you called it, you could do a search of your hard drive for it?

Also, did you delete the email you downloaded it from?
    If not, get it again.
If you did, check your 'trash' folder.

What internet browser are you using? (eg. IE, firefox, opera)

If you can see the title that it's saving as. You can use it to do a search?

The title thingy doesn't work, I need the exact location if you get what I mean. Firefox should work better?

I'm not sure whether you said you're using firefox or not, but just try it with a browser different to the one you're using.

    ps. read pm x

    EDIT:
You could also try typing "about:cache" into your web browser (without quotes) and searching in there for your file
