    Default Anti-Habbo?

I was just wondering if anything was going to be done about the continual anti-Habbo remarks all over the forum, especially in the Habbo section. I don't play Habbo much these days and there was always one or two who shouted 'Addict!' and 'Staff suck-up!' at the usual suspects but I think it's just out of hand now?

The majority of threads I look at in the Habbo section is all flaming of Habbo, if anyone says they like a new furni or says anything positive about Habbo they'll be called Addict and be called various other things just because they like something on Habbo.

Most people on this forum played Habbo at one point but since they've quit they find it hilarious to flame anyone who likes Habbo? Just last week I said the Habbo Toolbar was a good idea for some users and I'm flamed in a PM for being a Habbo Addict.

If the name calling is excessive, it's occasionally infracted but it's got to the point I think some users are afraid to post what they think. Some people now have to safeguard themselves by saying 'I'm not interested, I just want to know' or by saying 'It's a good idea for others'. I think that proves how sad the situation has got.

If people are becoming ashamed to like Habbo like most of us once did, I think that's rather sad for a Habbo FANsite.

I agree with you it's extreamly annoying
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

I know what you mean, it seems to have come to the point where it's 'uncool' to like Habbo on this forum and like you said, it's a Habbo Fansite and I don't know where this all came from.

I've witnessed this many times, and it makes you think why did they join this forum? Did they join the forum with good intention? Or purely to try and redicule those that still enjoy Habbo? It needs sorting that's for sure.

If anyone gets flamed in a pm re this subject they shouldn't tolerate it! Whoever sent the pm is truly a coward, and is deliberately out to destroy members confidence, so staff should get involved.
It's the quality of your posts that count, not the quantity!

Alex, I am sure and I would be greatful to see any links showing this and am happy to help out where this is going on. I agree it is not very nice indeed. It is a form of bullying in a way even if the person posting does not realise that. Half the time they 'follow my leader'. I love making rooms on Habbo still. I will have a look at the Habbo section as a matter of priority. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I would indeed be grateful for any links, although with the amount of admin I have atm I'd suggest directing it towards an smod who will deal with it as he sees fit

Its people like this that the new "trolling" infraction was designed for, and in more serious cases the bullying infraction. People who do this deserve at the very least those infractions, or if they do it too often an instant caution/temp ban. I'll brief the moderators of the habbo forum to keep an eye out for it

To contrary Alice's point - the users joined a long time ago when they were 'in to Habbo' so they obviously didn't come on just to target them. I agree though, considering it's a Habbo forum users shouldn't slate the Habbo users on here for using Habbo.
jesus had an intimate moment with the infraction button until it told him to stop asking for it's personal details and gave him a warning.

    NO PICTURE - 2 BIG!
