Plectosomses are mainly for Tropical tanks, it shouldn't really matter but they much prefer the warmth yano, get a borneo sucker, they love cold water (H) x.
    but nice fish tbh.

@Mitch: Guy at aquarium said they turn vicious when they're older and start eating the fish slime, causing disease.

&& He said they're fine in cold water.

Plec's are really calm fish, but they suck off some protective slime that the fish have on them to keep them immune from diseases, thats why bourneo suckers are better for coldwater. also Plecs grow absolute MASSIVE, i mean like huge, how big is your tank?
there ok in cold water, just ALOT better suited for tropical

We used to have an 18 year old Pleco who was just over a foot long, should have been much longer considering it's age. It was the gentlist sod in our tank (apart from our Gay Fighting Fish).
