Default Restore Windows MBR with a Ubuntu Live CD

OK. I want to use ubuntu, cause vista is starting to piss me off. I usually use my mac but this is another story.

Say if I need to uninstall Ubuntu, is it possible to make a backup of the Windows MBR before i install so if i need to uninstall the Ubuntu installation, I can replace GRUB back with the Windows MBR and then remove the partition and resize the vista partition with Gparted?
    goodbye.

You can do it with the Windows disk.

If not, then you must install GRUB, possibly by using one of the many internet tutorials
