Hey,
Can you send SMS via a PHP script via a webserver? For free using a PHP script?
If you can does anyone have a good script?
Danny
I'll translate that:
Q: Can you send an SMS message via PHP?
A: Yes you can to a user's SMS e-mail. EX: [email protected]
There are numerous sites that show you how to do this. Google![]()
SMS EMAIL ADDRESSES:
ALL: [email protected]
Alltel: [email protected]
AT&T Wireless: (now Cingular): [email protected]
Boost Mobile: [email protected]
Cingular: [email protected]
Metro PCS: [email protected]
Nextel: [email protected]
Ntelos: [email protected]
Orange: [email protected]
Sprint (now Sprint Nextel): [email protected]
T-Mobile: [email protected]
Verizon: [email protected]
Virgin Mobile: [email protected]
Your best option is to use an SMS operator which allows a message to be sent worldwide by just entering a mobile number.
Most offer API abilities to make it simple and easy to use.
If you don't know the individuals operator or SMS email then it will be almost impossible to do it for free.

So say if you emailed *phonenumber*@teleflip.com
it would come up on that persons phone as an sms and not cost anything to you or that person?
Is it the subject line that comes up as from or something?
Coming and going...
Highers are getting the better of me
