Default Book: "A Child Called 'It'"

This book by Dave Pelzer is one of the greatest books I have ever read.
It is about a child who is mentally and physically abused by his alcohol mother. His name is David but overtime his mother stops using his name and just refers to his as "The Boy". If you love books you should really give this a read, it, even though it is extremely sad, is one amazing book.

    The blurb:

This Million-Selling, New York Times number one best-seller, is the Author's heart rendering sotry of his struggles to live through a childhood beaten and neglected by his alcoholic mother, eventually finding a family who love him.
It is the first of a trilogy based on the child's life from age 8-12.

I find them really interested and it makes me thankful for my own life not being as horrific.

i think it is one of the best books i have ever read.
i gotta say if you liked that book then you should read noughts and crosses its much better and if you like sad books then its the one for ya its about racism. About how a white boy falls in love with a black girl and gets beaten for it -.-" i wont say any more but yeah. theres 2 add-ons for it called 'knifes edge' and 'Checkmate' theres also a smaller book called "An Eye For An Eye " which i have never been able to get hold of. They are all amazing.
