Having Problems Getting Into the Hotel?

Our technical team have discovered a problem that may be affecting your access into the hotel.
We have been running some technical tests and have discovered that the latest version (version 11) of Adobe Shockwave Player (that is used to load and play Habbo Hotel) has some problems with Windows Operating Systems, if there are special letters in the Windows account name. This prevents loading of Habbo Hotel, and means you can't get in.

Although it is unlikely you will have used special characters in your Windows account name in the UK (e.g. ä, ö, û, é, à), it is still worth checking just in case - especially if you are having problems getting into Habbo.

Adobe is fixing the problem at their end, but in the meanwhile there is a workaround that might help you get around the problem. The instructions are below, but first please note the following:
- If your computer is not your own, check from the owner (e.g. your parents) that you can edit the computer account settings and create a new account. They can also help you creating the new account if you haven't done this before.
- The problem is not related at all to your Habbo name. There is no need at all to request a Habbo name change or to make a new Habbo
1. Click Start
2. Click control panel
3. Click User Accounts
4. Click Create New Account
5. Follow the steps in the Account Creation Wizard
6. When selecting user name for the account, use only English characters (letters between A-Z). Do not use any special characters (e.g. ä, ö, û, é, à)
7. Save the New Account
8. Use that account when logging into Habbo (you don't have to change anything in your Habbo account)
