Mic/Computer problem

Heyy,

So I haven't been able to DJ for a while because my soundcard was broken and everything. Now my dad's friend fixed it but now my computer won't detect my microphone. It's not the microphone that doesn't work because it works on the computer downstairs. The speekers and the headphones work fine. It's just my mic. It won't actually detect it so I don't know what to do really.

Does anyonme have any ideas? My dad is too busy to help me.

I'd like to get DJ'ing as soon as poss. so please help!

Hey,

In Control Panel you can edit your sound input/output devices. Also with some computers like mine I get a popup confirming I want to use a certain microphone. I have attached a picture of the popup to this post.
