    Default Pirates of Silicon Valley

I've just finished watching pirates of silicon valley. Great documentary, but how accurate is it? Steve Jobs was ripping people up and was just acting completely ignorant of what's going on in a lot of this, and Bill Gates basically admitted that he had copied the Macintosh GUI? (We all know it came from Xerox..but I don't think Bill Gates admitted he took it from anyone..)

If this is true, then it's nice to know Bill Gates tells the truth than his arrogant and just plain annoying counterpart, Jobs. No-one seems to realise though, that all companies copy from others to make their products evolve, so people should stop thinking it's such a big deal when it's very common "/

Yeah, the people who initially made the products in the computer market didn't get money for their creations (such as the Altair 8800 creator, or the first spreadsheet).

Isn't there a thing where companies such as games consoles actually send their ideas to other companies to show them. I think it';s to avoid spying which is what previously happened. If what i think is right then surely it's inevitable that people will copy or use other companies ideas to improve their own, keeping up the competition.
