    Default New comp account

In windows xp, when creating a new account via control panel etc...

If you create 1, then delete the current 1 your on, does that mean all the programs you used before (on your old account) get deleted if not, does that mean you have to reinstall all the programs such as virus programs you have etc...?

If you delete the other account you'll lose your documents etc. In addition you may also lose some of your settings in programs (e.g your firefox profile).

Don't quite know the exact way on XP but on vista if you find the documents and settings/program files section for "All Users", I think from there you should be able to see what programs are installed for all users.
    Kind Regards,

    Guy
