i have a cold and i'm working on friday and i hate having a cold whilst working whats the best 2-day solution

My dad always boils lemons in a pan with water and then makes me drink it, I obviously add sugar or it would just be to bad to drink but with all the vitamin c your cold should be gone in no time.
