    Why is it taking up between 90 - 97% of my CPU usage? what can I do to prevent / cut down on this.

    Lol the more idle process the better it means the amount of free space for other things.

    Defenition : describing a person or machine, idle means the act of doing nothing.

    so yeah basically 96% of your CPU isnt being used, 4% is.
