I might get one, but it depends on the plans. Apparantly they are going to be $290 with a plan, but i dunno.

If they are affordable without a plan (Up to $600) i'll get one, but i doubt that. May just get a iTouch...

I'm waiting to see what the prices are like, I am considering it as my birthday present (in August) as my T-Mobile contract runs out in September anyway.

Yeah, not long to go now. People are already lining up for it in the US. I won't be getting this phone straight away, I rather put my money into another mac product at the moment. But soon, if the prices are right I may get one. But for now, its a no. =]

I am deff getting one on the £45 contract with o2 and paying the extra £59 or so for the 16gb model.

iPhone is perfect for my needs and should last me a long time.

the apparent prices were leaked not too long ago, and they certainly won't be over £350 for a 8gb version atleast.

i'm hoping to get one on friday, but the chances are quite slim, as the (idiotic) o2 supervisor said they would only have 65 in store. seems that they've already sold out online.

Whats the difference between the 3g iphone, and the original one?

Tbh, i want a monthly contract of no more than £25, if its more ill just get an ipod touch. But i really want an iphone, so that i dont have to carry a phone and an ipod touch around lol.

It says it in the name really. iPhone 3G has 3G and GPS where the Original iPhone didn't. Also a new back cover, white or black plastic (shiny ) New audio jack, new buttons. You should just check out the Apple Website on the new features.
