ebay, help please

Hi erm, I bought something on ebay, and I just said to him hi can u tell me when you dispatch it please. and he said im sending it tomorrow and i will bill you shortly. my dad says this means send the recipt, is that correct? because surely doesnt mean he will charge me soon because ive already payed for it?

I expect by bill he means recipt because he wouldn't send it without payment.

how did you pay for it, if you payed by cheque he might mean the cheque will clear shortly. otherwise he probably means like send you the receipt.

or it might be something dodgy, just see what happens
