Looks two plain in my opinion, doesn't really catch my eye especially since the Forum is supposed to be aimed at Teens.

Good choice of catergories however, they're appropriate.

Forums, word of mouth. It all depends on how well you interact with people.

You could always pay to advertise on certain websites, such as Social Networking. I know Facebook allows advertising for a small fee.
