    Default Remote Desktop

I'm thinking of turning my old PC into a linux server, just to see how it is and stuff.. I need a program that will allow me to dial into it from my Mac or Windows Vista PC just with a password or something, so I don't have to go back to the linux pc and accept the connection.

    Anyone know of any programs?

    Cheers,
    Chris.

A VNC program of some sort.

    http://www.tightvnc.com/download.html maybe.

Depending on the linux distro you install it may have some VNC software on it.

I don't think Teamviewer has a Linux support, does it?

If you are using it as a server there is no reason to install a GUI. Just use the shell. You can SSH to give remote access to the shell.

    Hmm..

Would you recommend I install the server version of Ubuntu?
