Buying laptop online

Okay i've selected the laptop i want, its well fit.
But yeah,
Should i tell my parents im ordering it, i have a full time job before i go back to school for sixth form, so i have the money - and they don't check how much money i have.
But should i like tell them im ordering it because, they think i spend too long at night on PC anyway, so they won't let me get my own laptop - so i want to do it secrelty aha. But still, if she found out i brought it without her knowing - she'd throttle me
Do you need to be like over 18 to purchase stuff online?
