dno about the chat pad but it does come with ethernet cable.

- It would be easier to use a old keyboard, it's a lot faster trust me. Plus with a chat pad the mic you get with it is terrible.

Chatpad, I've had no trouble at all and I have no regrets. Your Xbox 360 can use MSN attached to your gamertag, so you can have a quick chat or something while your waiting for a game or just use it like proper msn. It's easy to use but if your not using it for MSN there's not much point, it wouldn't get much use. On GTA it's helpful for typing in websites and it's useful when you type in your credit card details, but if it's not for msn, don't bother.

It does come with an ethernet cable yes.

12 months is much cheaper, 3 months isn't a particually good deal.

my wireless logitech keyboard works fine so it shouldnt be a problem, anly thing is the lights dont come on when I press caps lock, scroll lock and the number part doesnt work other than that its fine.

Yep xbox comes with ethernet cable, get 12months its cheaper
