Free Gifts with mobile phones

Sometimes with contracts you get gifts with mobile phones such as nintendo DS's or xbox's etc etc.

Has anyone actually recieved one of these as i'm waiting for one and I just want to know if i'll be waiting forever or if they actually do come.

Contact the network your on who your suppose to be getting the free gift from and ask them?

I'm just asking because my mum just got a new phone and you get a free nintendo DS with it and I was wondering if i'll actually get it or not so I asked if anyone else has got a deal like this and actually recieved the gift?

There was no small print, the woman read it to us as she was on the computer in carphone warehouse.

Usually they will say you have to pay for like half of it or something so you do need to be very careful.

you will get it, although you'll have to pay a ridiculous amount in the contract, so not only does it cover the cost of the DS as well you'll end up paying more!

My dad just got free speakers with his latest upgrade, quite nice ones too. Not really the same scenario that you have though.

I reccommend going to the carphone warehouse and asking them or giving them a ring, it's probably that you will get it 6 months in or something.

edit: Looking about the carphone warehouse website, they don't really give any t&c to do with free gifts :S It's probly in the actual contract you sign though
