Which Rockband should I buy?

Right I'm really stuck on what to do.

Basically, I could import Rockband for PS3 from America now and pay around £110 on Gamestop or £140 on Ebay. However, there is then the warranty issues.

Or I could wait untill the release date in the UK which is around the start of Septemeber and buy it then from the store without any warranty issues.

However, there is the new Rockband 2 coming out in around October in the UK. So I could import that with the new instruments.

So please help me. What should I do? Import Rockband now, buy it the UK when its out or wait untill the release of Rockband 2?

I can't wait to get Rockband but Septemeber and October just seem so far away at the moment!

I'd wait it out until Rockband is out in the UK on PS3. Once you've got that game you can buy Rockband 2 without the instruments, the only changes being made to them is sturdier, quieter drums and a new style of guitar, which you can always upgrade to later on. Thats my plan anyway

I'd import it, with it being school holidays.
That is, providing you have nothing else to do through the days.

Id wait till you get a UK release and get the origional Rockband then if it has any problems its easier to take back :]

I would love to import it but i wanted to buy DLC easier when i get it so i'm waiting for the UK release. So if you're gunna be wanting to buy alot of DLC i would wait.

It's a timed exclusive. So PS3 will probably get it after christmas

You might aswell get Rock Band when it comes out in the UK, and Rock Band 2 is being released on the 360 in September/October the PS3 version will be released after Christmas some time.
