Windows to PC

Alright, i'm changing to mac tommorow, on a Macbook Pro which i'll buy. Please tell me anything that I should download that is free, and tips etc.

edit/ I know I already have a thread about the "taskbar", but this is about tips etc. about switching to mac. Hope this will be a smooth transition for me

To be honest, everything is super easy. I wouldnt watch too many videos as it spoils it, but its really easy.

Skitch (snap an image, make any adjustments, upload it with one click) Open beta atm.

Question, i've downloaded Adium, how do you do it so that you can get the neat little list on the desktop and the cd jewel case? ty

Cute little lists -
Adium >> Preferances

Select a style


Jewel cases is a program called CoverSutra. You can buy it, or get it from 'certain websites'

ok thanks now I have another problem. How do I get adium to start automatically and sign in when I turn on my computer (like on windows)

When adium is in your dock. Right click/CMD-Click - Select Open at login.
