Yep confirmed at E3 that Nintendo are devolping a super sensitive microphone for the wii which will sit on your Tv set. Set to be used for Animal Crossing.

An FPS has already been confirmed to be using Wii Speak in online multiplayer (16 players).

The official peripheral is a big microphone designed to record the whole room but there is no doubt in my mind a third party, probably.. the company that made The Perfect Shot and were first to begin developing a wireless nunchuck but I've forgetten their name now.
Anyway I beleive a third party will definitely mod it into a headset. Or even just a smaller microphone you attach to your person (hang it around your ear, clipping it onto a shirt etc)---

A third party will mod it into a headset, probably Niko (is that right..?) I think it'd be pretty easy.

well thats what usually happens a third party makes there own version of a console add on and most of the time its better than the offical one. Originally Posted by Ekalb

I think a headset would be better but I'd want to be compatable with games already out. I can shout at my friends on Mario Kart then..
