Other people arnt allowed to kill the tree spirt thing for you...

1) try to get a high level friend to come with you. (who has already done quest)
2) then, let him/her kill the lessers for you until they drop a bronze axe. then get the axe from him/her
3) ok, then start to cut down the tree. however run away and then tell your friend to start to kill the ghost. the ghost won't bother you and then you can start to get as many sticks of wood as possible
4) you can either finish the monster or just teleport away

worked for meh, i had a lv 82 fighting the spirit

i no he can't help me kill the spirt but i wanted some1 to make arrows runes or stuff like that

I brought arrows (already made, before) with me and log and knife and a string and food. I flecthed a bow used it to kill zombies untill they'd drop an axe and then I ran next to lessers /they didn't took anything off me to the tree. When tree spirit came first run abit around the tree so it gets confused and then go behind musrooms and just keep ranging it when it dies just took some logs and fletch it into this staff. Also bring runes for tele other wise you'll need to go thru doors and you'll be like 30+ wilderness It's not hard at all I only ate like 2 lobbies.

Then go to this small house thingy in swamp weild that staff before you enter and you shall be in lost city. If you gona want to go into the area they sell dragon dagger and longsword you'll need one cut diamond ;o

i managed to kill it when i was combat 69 so if you get to 72 u shud be safe at killing it by mele

also somebody else can kill it for you i think

i took arrows 500 bronze, Unfinished bow, String,10 cakes lol and i owned it=]
