    Default Really need flights

    Hello
I am currently looking for flights to leave London Heathrow or Gatwick to go to Shannon, Ireland on the 30th or 31st july, and to return on 5th or 6th of august. I have been looking for the past hour and cant find any (I can with aer lingus but they leave at 9am which is too early for me to get there). I am 14 btw, and some airlines don't accept people under 16.

If anyone can find a flight, regardless of cost, I will give them +rep and some habbo furni. I'm really desperate for this because this is the only time my dad in Ireland has off work during the summer, and if I can't go then, the chances are I won't see my granddad there again (he is very ill and possibly won't live to see christmas). Please help me with this, I will still be searching most of the night until I can find a flight!

Thank you all, and as always your help is appreciated

Tried finding British air and bmi but can't get any, I'll try to search a bit more. But if you're quite desperate to go, is there a way you can catch a train to a place near north britain and take a ferry or something? Sorry if that sounds ridiculous I don't live in the UK/Ireland. Good luck

Edit/ Aer Lingus seems to have an available flight from Heathrow - Shannon - Heathrow, 31st Jul and 6th Aug respectively. Not sure if they'll accept below 16 though, but it seems that they count you as an adult fare 12 years old and above so they might let you.

Unaccompanied child and infant booking information

    Infant | Unaccompanied Minor
Infants who travel on a parent's lap are charged a flat rate of €20/£16 or equivalent on all shorthaul routes or 10% of the adult fare on flights to the USA. For comfort and convenience you may wish to consider purchasing a seat for your infant. To do so, proceed by booking your infant as a child at the applicable child fare and bring your aviation authority approved forward facing car safety seat on board the aircraft.

    UNACCOMPANIED MINOR

Aer Lingus does not accept reservations for unaccompanied children under 12 years of age for travel on Aer Lingus scheduled services.

Children under 12 years of age cannot travel unless accompanied by an adult aged 16 years or older, who will take responsibility for the child.

Aer Lingus will continue to accept passengers aged 12-15 years inclusive but will not provide special assistance for these passengers. A Form of Indemnity must be completed by a parent/guardian with respect to such passengers at each airport of departure.

For Aer Lingus - JetBlue Airways connecting flights unaccompanied minors under the age of 14 will not be accepted for travel by either carrier for any part of the journey.
    looks like you can

Edit// You'll have to transit at Dublin though if that's ok.

Thanks, the information is really helpful And I don't mind transferring over at Dublin. The ferry idea however wouldn't be possible, getting a train by myself means going through London at early hours which is way to busy but the idea is helpful, thank you +Rep
