Wii 2

Apparently the Wii 2 is expected to be released in the next few years.
I passed the mags isle in tescos today, and I saw a magazine with preveiws of the Wii 2, I didn't stop and read, just flicked through to the images of it.
I forgot what the magazine was called, but I can check next time I'm in, even get photos for proof.

But the remote is all new designed and their is headgear, a light kinda' earpiece which detects your facial movement and aparently, (from the magazine) it can active some motion control for the Wii.

I googled it, but nothing about what I saw today came up.

I was looking in the Wii website and clicked on the link that said WiiII. And I saw this new version of the wii.

It's said that it can play DVD and that it has new motion sensing controllers that you attached to your hands and feet and you still have you're traditional Wiimote and nunchuck. It's awesome!!! Its said that it will be released in early 2010. I'm getting it!!!!

2010 seems a bit early for a new console considering how long consoles live for these days.

A few countries still haven't even got the Wii. Such as China, they don't even have a release date lol. It was only released in Taiwan a week ago as well.

An early 2010 release will be just over 4 years since the Wii was released. The Wii was released over 5 years after the Gamecube. I think this news is fake.

There is a magazine you can buy this month with all the latest and new technology, it has concept for the Wii 2 and the xbox handheld, I don't remember the name of it but the new Wii controllers currently worry me, they're rounded, long and pretty thin and have a slight point on one end

Yes! Thats what I saw (I think), on the cover their was a girl with a bikini holding the new remote... looks like a form of 'toy'

I think Nintendo should try to further develop the current Wii as opposed to start on a new console already. Xbox handheld? Good god.. we can hope it's not another PSP I guess.
