    Default speakers/itunes?

well, whenever i'm listening to music and i have a few tabs open, it just seems to skip whenever i click something on the tabs which is easily solved by closing one of the tabs but is there any other way to solve that?

also, my speakers have started to play up, when i play a song there is like a weird sound in the background. it happens every so often but it's noticeable and it's irritating. i can't describe the sound but it's getting in the way of music. what could be the cause of this? i've got logitech speakers with a sub-woofer (if that's the right thing?) if that's any help.

There are cases where Logitech speakers pick up French radio stations, so maybe that's part of the problem? Have the speakers turned on but nothing playing through them but listen carefully?

iTunes is a notorious resource hog, it could be that your system is doing too much at once, I used to get this before I got my new heatsink when listening to music and doing something else system heavy like encoding videos. Check task manager when this happens, specifically your CPU usage and RAM usages.
