    I thought that maybe his recent movies - Fun With D!ck & Jane for one, was a bit... well unfunny and dry, then he went for The Number 23 and althought it was fabulous I just though that he was more well suited to comedy.

    Well he is typecasted to stupid comedy, but he can pull off serious roles, just look at Man On The Moon.

    I agree. He was absolutely outstanding in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Minds aswell. He can pull off serious roles rather well.
