Default Is there any way for me to view everything on my wireless network?

As my net speed is 48mbps instead of the usual 54. It drops to 48 when someone else is using it :S

Your computer may drop the speed a little to conserve power, or your router may do the same, there will be an option to set it to stop doing this.

Also, you could just be a little far from your router.

You won't notice any difference anyway unless your transfering files over your network, or you have a 54mbp/s internet connection haha

Go into the router's menu through your web browser and look at the DHCP client list.

    What router do you have?

Some crappy Zwire one from BT.

It's been messing us about recently, nothing can hold an IP adress.

Do you know how to access the router settings page, yeah?

On that page, I have an option to view "attached devices" which does what you want.

I figured as much, I told my Dad we need a new one but he's worried about it as he doesn't think it'll be able to work with his laptop. He doesn't have any perms on it as it's a work one so he doesn't know if it'd pick it up.

It will work with his laptop, by perms, you mean he hasn't got Admin priviledges?

Basically he's not aloud to install anything on it. He has to get the tech guys at head office to do everything
