    With colours like Blue, Red, Pink etc. I would dye it Blonde (Bleach) then put the other colour on top.

    You could do purple? black? (Without dying it blonde first).

    I didn't say blonde! I said dye it blonde first if you want to put bright "loud" colours on because they wouldn't show too well on dark hair?

    Thats actually not true, well not with me and my friends we did that ourselfs then put purple on and it went darker. My mate had it done at the hairdresser and it went darker, without blonde the purple went lighter.

    lol..

    Yes, i've had blue before, having blue without blonde makes it go lighter, with blonde makes it go darker.

    Well did with me and hairdressers

    I've had;
    Blue (with/out blond)
    Purple (with/out blond)

    Yeah, I would personally dye it blonde first because I would want it dark. . I suppose what colours you want.

    Of course dyeing it blond and then putting another colour on top wouldn't work as planned because bleaching hair from dark brown would completely ruin the condition, thus meaning the damaged hair wouldn't be able to hold the dye.

    Getting one big highlight, like a fringe or something looks so lame and stereotypically "emo", it's not even "in" anymore.
