Default How to improve this layout? (stuck)

Hey guys I've been wanting to design another layout for ages so I've gone to design one.. and got stuck. The name won't actually be the 'name' so just ignore that I need ideas on where the nav should be, ways I can improve on it and such.

    +REP to constructive comments.

    Thanks.

I don't understand the slogan, but the layout is alright.. just needs a few content boxes, that go well with the header.

Neither do I. I just thought of it for a content filler Thanks for the comments

The nav, could be on a rectangle on the bottom of the banner with it's content box going down.

I can't judge much to it, as it has hardly anything to it,
but it looks good so far.

    So far, it's looking good.
I'd say, you should get inspiration from modern sites.
I'd reccomend; http://www.deviantart.com/ and layouts like that.

I think a really really light grey box for content, and its done.

I love how simple, yet effective it is
