Default Smart FTP no longer free.

    Hiya.

Yeah, I just was forced to upgrade my SmartFTP and it is telling me that they are no longer offering it free.

    Dang.

So everybody make sure you go into TOOLS -> SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> ADVANCED -> and untick "ENABLE UPDATE CHECK"

To prevent you from having the same problem.

    (This is v3 tutorial btw)

    Thanks,
    Jake.

I personally recommend FireFTP. It's a Firefox add-on which allows a very basic and simple FTP programme to operate inside Firefox. This'll always be free, it has all basic features and does the job and you don't even have to leave Firefox

    FireFTP is rubbish.

It gets clogged easily and doesn't have an upload queue.

    SmartFTP is cool

Hmm for me if you just open it a few times it eventually opens haha.

If you press OK on the following it won't do anything:

But on this one if you press OK it will open.

To get this second one, you just gotta open it loads of times
    Kind Regards,

    Guy
