Hey guys,
Just got my new xbox, plugged it all in, signed into live etc. but i have no sound coming through my speakers :S!
It's an elite, and i've plugged it in using the red green and blue cables....

ok, ive just found if i switch it to 'tv' instead of 'hdtv' i get sound... but pictures crap

Hmm i would reccomend getting hdmi cables and seeing if that works if not it may be your cables or even the xbox

Plug in all your hd cables, exept for the yellow one.
EDIT: I think i know whats wrong (think), On the cable that connects into your tv from your xbox, make sure it is switched to "HD". (The switch is where it is plugged into your xbox)Last edited by Coheed&Cambria; 31-07-2008 at 10:47 AM.

It is switched to HD, and, I plugged in the yellow one. So I'll unplug it

right guys, i found out that it's because i had it plugged into my PAL audio instead of CVI LOL

If it still looks crap then on 360 goto the settings and make the tv setting 1020p or 1020i if you tv can handle it and the picture will be uber
The other day I was in a toilet.
A voice came from the cubicle next to me: "Hello mate, how are you doing?"
I didn't want to be rude, so I said, "Not too bad, thanks."
I heard the voice again. "So, what are you up to?"
Again I answered, "Just having a quick ****... How about yourself?"
Then I heard him say "Sorry, mate, I'll have to call you back. I've got some **** in the cubicle next to me answering everything I say."
