    Default Womens/Girls football

What do you think of it?

I did post a thread about it like a month ago, but i think its been deleted.
Info:I Play for a girls football team, league winners, fair play winners, got to semi-final in the league cup.
Many people seem to think that football isn't for girls or women, but i think differently.
    Whats your opinion?

girls football is alright from the local stuff i've seen but i haven't seen a girls team that is at the caliber that the men compete at. Just last night i watched a documentary on girls u17 world cup soccer.

I don't think girls and boys sports will ever be in the same caliper.. theres some indvidiul girls that can compete or beat the boys.. but theres never enough to make a team.

In terms of league and Fa cup . It always goes to Arensal .

I saw their cup final this year it looked ok.

The passing was a bit off and the defence wasnt to good either but they had quite a good tempo to the games. The england women are a good side though. The manger has good team their.

Women can play some decent stuff and it is a girls game to. Probaly will never happen but if the Fa could organise England M V England W would be a good game to wach.

I used to play for a girls football team but then some stuff happend in my life and I no longer play. However, I heard a rumor that when the England's women team went to play in the World Cup by the time they had come back they were really struggling for money. I can accept the fact that Womens football may not ever be as big as Men's football but it really is amazing how much money Men's football receives in comparison to Women's football. My opinion is that maybe the FA should put a little more money into the Women's game so that when they represent their country in a big tournament they are able to be financially stable and are able to support themselves when they return.

Yeah, i heard that rumor too.
Apparently they only got payed £40 a game or something like that.
&& Most women footballers have second jobs as well.

The money part, Yes they should earn higher as well, for the exact reasons that you just said.
I Find it unfair that they do get payed so little, thry maybe should get payed a little more, but nowhere near as much as the mens, as you said that it will never be as big as the mens game!
