.001, .002, .003 Problems

I recently downloaded some files in the format .avi.001 .avi.002 and .avi.003. Normally these would be openable with WinRar but it doesn't recognise them as an archive when I try and extract them. I've tried changing the extension so it's just .avi I can open them but I am unable to combine them as it creates a delay of 706ms and goes out of synch with the video. I have also tried combining them into a single archive which also didn't work, does anyone know what I am supposed to do with them to open them?

Doesn't support .001 files, I found out how to do it though (this program). +Rep anyways
